I used to live in Texas and I truly miss places like this. The owner seems to, as well! I love walking into the sights, sounds, and smells of what reminds me of my time in Texas. I’ve had the brisket and mac and cheese during my first and second visit, which were delightful! Today I came in and the owner suggested a sandwich with pulled pork, fried pickles, and a ranch sauce. It was AMAZING. I also had the tater tot salad/casserole which had such a homemade flare! I’m looking forward to bringing my family here in the near future!

We had the Pulled pork sandwich with zesty slaw, Pork belly burnt ends with Mac and cheese, Mango habanero burnt ends with baked beans, Pulled pork Grilled cheesez with chips, and the new Fusion Burger with chips. We also got 3 fountain drinks. Final bill was 120 (including a 20% tip). The burnt ends were a little dry on this particular occasion (not on any of the rest) but still good. I would say that they are for sure the best BBQ in mid Missouri area. The service is always great and accommodating.

Awesome atmosphere! I came here to eat during Mizzou’s Thursday night football home/season opener. I sat at the bar, the game was on, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the brisket and the tater casserole per the young lady’s recommendation. Everything was really good! Highly recommend!

I am very appreciative to Bud’s BBQ. We had a catering order that was miscommunicated about. We ended up with far less food than needed to feed our staff. After calling, they immediately made more food for us to serve at our banquet. We will certainly use Bud’s again thanks to their quick fix!

Excellent stop for lunch. We had the cowboy burrito and Mexican rice. It's a big burrito! Everything was seasoned well, but the rice could use a little kick, in my opinion. Service was great and the restaurant itself was very comfortable.

This place is a hidden gem! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. I walked in with no idea what to order, but the staff gave fantastic recommendations that truly elevated the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful—perfect for a weekday visit. The restaurant was spotless with a welcoming, friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure our every inquiry was met. Food Review: The smash burger was exactly what I’ve been searching for in Columbia. I tried the Fusion Smash Burger with chipotle sauce and added grilled onions as a substitute, and it was perfection. The charred flavor of the onions paired beautifully with the smoky chipotle seasoning, creating a delicious depth of flavor. The burger itself was incredibly juicy, and the fries were perfectly crisp. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better meal!
